Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. You can permanently delete your My Water Buddy account and all associated data.

🚀 Fastest way — delete from inside the app

If you still have the app installed:

Open My Water Buddy
Go to the Settings tab (bottom-right)
Scroll down and tap Delete account (red text)
Read the consequence and tap Continue
On the second dialog tap Yes, delete forever — your account and all data are removed immediately

Guest users: there is no cloud account to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all your local data.

If you uninstalled the app or can't sign in, submit this form. We acknowledge requests within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 14 days of identity verification.

What gets deleted:

Firebase Auth record (Google sign-in link)
Firestore profile (name, weight, gender, wake/sleep times, cup presets)
All water intake history
Goals, streaks, achievements, XP, streak-freeze balance
Push notification (FCM) tokens — both the current token and any historical tokens associated with your account

About Google Health data:

If you used the optional Google Health sync (Premium), the hydration entries we wrote to your device's system health store remain there. We do not control or have access to that data. To remove it:

Android: Open the Health Connect app → Data and access → Hydration → My Water Buddy → Delete entries.

What is NOT deleted by this request:

Your active subscription — you must cancel it separately in Google Play App Store, otherwise billing continues even after data deletion.
Anonymous aggregate analytics with no personal identifier.
Billing records that Google Play are legally required to retain.
