Terms of Service

Welcome to My Water Buddy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the My Water Buddy mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by SwiftOutlet. By using My Water Buddy, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use My Water Buddy. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account Registration

You may use My Water Buddy as a Guest (no account, all data stays on your device) or sign in with a Google account. We do not currently support email/password. You are responsible for keeping your Google account credentials secure.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Interfere with the Service’s normal operation or other users' use
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Resell or commercially redistribute the Service

4. Premium Subscriptions

My Water Buddy offers an optional Premium subscription. Premium unlocks: all extra themes (Baby, Colorful, Animation), streak freeze, home screen widget, Material You dynamic colour, personal insights, PDF report export, cloud backup, daily reminders, rare achievements, and Google Health hydration sync. The free tier remains fully functional for hydration tracking.

Pricing (US):

• Monthly — USD 1.99 / month (auto-renewing)
• Yearly — USD 18.99 / year (auto-renewing)

Prices in other countries are localised by Google Play based on your store region. The price shown in the app at the moment of purchase is the price you will pay.

Billing:

• Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your payment card details.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Cancel at any time — Play Store → Subscriptions → My Water Buddy → Cancel.
• After cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled per Google Play App Store policies — we cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, your subscription will automatically start at the regular price at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. The exact trial duration and renewal price are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm.

6. User Content

Your hydration data, name, and profile information remain yours. By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

My Water Buddy, including its design, code, logos, and content, is owned by SwiftOutlet and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Health Disclaimer

My Water Buddy is a hydration tracking tool, not a medical device. Goal calculations are estimates based on general guidelines and your body weight. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a healthcare provider regarding your hydration needs, especially if you have a medical condition.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

You may stop using My Water Buddy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftOutlet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
