Summary

Salat And Tasbeeh has no accounts, login, ads or analytics. We (the developer) do not collect or store your data on our own servers, and we never sell data.

Location

If you allow it, the app reads your location only while you use it (never in the background). It is used to calculate prayer times, the Qibla direction and nearby mosques, and the coordinates are stored only on your device.

Your coordinates (no name or other identity) are sent to outside servers in two cases:

• To show a place name: OpenStreetMap Nominatim (nominatim.openstreetmap.org)
• To find "Nearby mosques": OpenStreetMap Overpass servers (overpass-api.de; maps.mail.ru as a fallback)

These servers may briefly log your IP address under their own policies. If you pick a city from the list instead of granting location, no location is sent anywhere.

Other internet services

• Surah recitation audio streams or downloads from the Islamic Network CDN (cdn.islamic.network). Audio you play or download is saved on your device so it can be heard offline later; you can delete it in the app.
• Fonts are built into the app; nothing is downloaded for them.
• If your location is in Saudi Arabia, Turkey or Malaysia, the Hijri date is taken from the official calendar via Aladhan (api.aladhan.com) or JAKIM (www.e-solat.gov.my). Only the month and year are sent, not your location.
• In Bangladesh, the start date of each Hijri month (as announced by the National Moon Sighting Committee) is read as a file from our website (www.swiftoutlet.com). Nothing is sent.

These requests share ordinary network data (such as your IP address) with those servers.

Notifications and alarms

Prayer, jamaat, sehri and iftar reminders are scheduled on your device; no server is involved. The "Alarms & reminders" permission is requested so reminders arrive on the exact minute. You can turn these permissions off any time in phone settings.

Do Not Disturb (auto silent)

Only if you turn it on and grant access, the app silences your phone at the jamaat times you set and restores the previous mode afterwards. This access does not let the app read your notifications, and no data is collected.

Storage and deletion

Your settings (calculation method, city, jamaat times, tasbih counts, etc.) stay on your device. Android may include them in your device backup depending on your Google account settings. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes everything. The "backup code" goes to the clipboard only when you copy it yourself.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page and in the app.
