This Privacy Policy describes how Swift Outlet (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the FoodCal AI mobile application (the “App”). FoodCal AI is a nutrition and calorie-tracking application available on Google Play.
By downloading, accessing, or using FoodCal AI, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication), we receive your email address, display name, and Google account profile picture (if available).
- Profile & Goal Data: Information you enter such as gender, age, height, current weight, target weight, activity level, and dietary goals.
- Health & Fitness Data: Daily calorie intake, macronutrient breakdown (carbs, protein, fat), water consumption, meal logs, workout activity, and weight history that you record in the App.
- Camera Input: When you use the AI food scanner, the App captures photos through your device camera. These images are processed entirely on-device using Google ML Kit and are not uploaded to our servers or any third party.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, language, and time zone — collected only as required for the App to function correctly.
- Purchase Information: If you purchase a premium subscription, Google Play provides us with a transaction identifier and subscription status. We do not receive or store your full payment details (card number, billing address, etc.).
What we do NOT collect: We do not collect your precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone audio, or photos from your device gallery. We do not currently use advertising identifiers, behavioral analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.
2. App Permissions
FoodCal AI requests the following Android permissions, and only for the purposes described:
- Camera — Required for the AI Food Scanner feature. Image data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted off the device.
- Internet — Required for sign-in, syncing your data to your secure cloud profile, fetching food nutrition information, and processing in-app purchases.
You may revoke any permission at any time through your device’s system settings. Disabling a permission may limit the App’s functionality.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the core features of the App, including calorie tracking, macro analysis, meal logging, and progress charts.
- Personalize your daily calorie and macro targets based on your profile and goals.
- Sync your data securely across your devices when you sign in.
- Process and manage your premium subscription, including verifying entitlements.
- Respond to your support requests and questions.
- Maintain the security, integrity, and proper operation of the App.
- Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited cases:
- Service providers we rely on to operate the App (see Section 5).
- Legal requirements: if disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Swift Outlet, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where the recipient will be bound by this Privacy Policy.
- With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information.
5. Third-Party Services
FoodCal AI uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore) — used to sign you in and securely store your profile and health/fitness data.
Firebase Privacy & Security - Google ML Kit (on-device) — used to identify food items from camera images. Processing occurs entirely on your device.
ML Kit Terms - Google Play Billing — used to process subscription purchases. Payment is handled directly by Google.
Google Privacy Policy - CalorieNinjas API — used to retrieve publicly available nutrition information for foods you log. Only the food name (text query) is sent; no personal identifiers are shared.

6. Data Storage & Retention
Your profile and health/fitness data are stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your authenticated account. Data is retained for as long as your account is active, so that your history and progress remain available to you across devices.
When you delete your account, all associated personal data is removed from our active databases immediately and permanently — this action cannot be undone, and there is no way to recover deleted data. Any residual copies in routine system backups are overwritten within 30 days, except where retention is required for legitimate legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit and Firebase’s server-side encryption at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authenticated requests tied to your account.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the App at your own risk.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable laws (such as the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request deletion of your personal data;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

9. Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time, in two ways:
- Inside the app: go to Profile → Account → Delete account, then confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
- By email: if you cannot access the app, email foodcalai@yahoo.com from your registered email address with the subject line “Delete My Account.” We will verify your identity and complete the request, in all cases within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy
FoodCal AI is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at foodcalai@yahoo.com and we will promptly delete that information.
11. International Data Transfers
Swift Outlet is based in Bangladesh, and our service providers (such as Google Firebase) may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using FoodCal AI, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in those countries. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of FoodCal AI after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
13. Medical Disclaimer
FoodCal AI is provided for informational and general wellness purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Calorie, macronutrient, and nutritional values shown in the App are estimates and may be inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise routine, or treatment plan, especially if you have a medical condition or take medication.
