SwiftOutlet ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications, specifically FoodCal AI, available on the Google Play Store.
1. Information We Collect
To provide you with the best possible experience, we may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
- Account Information: If you use Cloud Sync, we collect your email address and profile information via Google Sign-In (Firebase Authentication).
- Camera & Image Data: FoodCal AI requires access to your device's camera to scan food. The images captured are processed using machine learning (ML Kit) solely to identify food items. We do not use your images for any other purpose.
- Health & Nutrition Data: We store the calories, macronutrients (protein, carbs, fat), water intake, and workout logs you input or generate through the app.
2. How We Store Your Data
Your data is securely stored in two locations:
- Local Storage: Fast, offline access is provided via a secure local database (Room Database) on your device.
- Cloud Storage: If signed in, your data is synced to secure cloud servers (Google Firebase Firestore) to prevent data loss and allow cross-device syncing.
3. Data Deletion and Your Rights (Google Play Policy)
We respect your right to control your personal data in compliance with Google Play's User Data policy.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account directly within the FoodCal AI app by navigating to Settings/Profile > Delete Account.
- Data Erasure: When you delete your account, all your data (including food logs, weight history, and synced cloud data on Firebase) is permanently and immediately deleted from our active servers.
- Manual Request: Alternatively, you can request full data deletion by emailing us directly at support@swiftoutlet.com from your registered email address. We will process your request within 7 business days.
